Learning Reflection Week 4

Week 4
This week has been very full on. We have had our second session of french, swimming heats, and House Captain speeches. During this week we have had probably...maybe... four tests? Well, there is so many I have lost count! The minor games that were held in week 2 had a great part in getting to know all the new members in Puniu. (My School House) Maths this week has been quite self managing, as for some subjects we were able to choose whether we needed to work on it or not. Production notices have been handed out, and I can't wait until my audition. Camp notices have also been handed out, and I now have the check list and the itinerary. This is another thing that I'm SUPER exited about! I still need to get in my KBB rental form to rent an Alto Saxophone, which I am switching to in band. But until that form is back, I am playing the glockenspiel. This Saturday I am having my first piano lesson with my teacher, but we still need to organize a FIXED time for my piano lessons to take place. We have just got told that Passion hour will be carrying on next term! Woo hoo! Passion hour is an hour (or 45 minutes) we use to do something we've been wanting to do for ages. E.G Learn card tricks, or how to play monopoly. Last year everybody in the class did passion hour. This year though, my teacher is limiting that amount to the people she think are actually learning something, or using passion hour wisely. I hope I am one of those students.

Courage

A veil of fiery red hair falls around her shoulders, small curls kissing their tips. She is bonded closely to her two younger sisters, Persistence and Perseverance. Some people are frightened of Courage, and some people admire her. A powerful storm rages on inside her, only to be seen through her mysterious green eyes. Her best friend is Passion, a boy who fits in perfectly with her determined personality.

A strong fire burns in her brave heart, giving fear hope, and hope courage. Her red dress flares around her feet like her hair, giving her a powerful look. Courage is always the first to volunteer for the things that no one else is willing to do. Thick walls surround her, warding off fear, doubt, and depression. No such feelings enter her system, and if they somehow squeeze through the barrier, her bold self-conscious throws them back out again.

Many men, like Strength, Valiant and Dauntless try to win over the heart of Courage. But no matter how dashing, brave, or strong those men are, she looks over them as if they are inferior to her fearless soul, and to her expectations.

Just walking past Courage makes you feel invincible, like you can change the world with the snap of a finger. She makes you feel as if there are no boundaries, like you can do anything without fail. When Courage comes along, grasp her, as she can help you do things that you never thought possible.
